Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed line-up changes in a Friday press conference ahead of the Haiti match. After Brazil's 1-1 draw with Morocco in their opening game, Ancelotti said: 'The team can and must do more. We'll make some changes, maybe bring in a fresher player. We need to improve our balance and the quality of our play.'
Douglas Santos will replace Alex Sandro at left-back, Fabinho will replace Casemiro in central midfield, and Luiz Henrique will replace Paquetà, according to Gazzetta. Endrick is expected to remain on the bench.
Ancelotti described Haiti as 'a very balanced team, with above all physical quality, well organised and with a rather clear system.' He stated Brazil must 'defend with a low block, attack, exploit individual quality, be aggressive forward' and 'lower the block, defend in our own area.'
Brazil face Haiti on June 20, 2026 at 2:30 CET. The tactical adjustments aim to address the defensive vulnerabilities exposed by Morocco's dominant first-half performance.
