Brazil face Morocco in Group C World Cup opener

Brazil face Morocco in the opening match of Group C at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic will oversee the match, with kick-off at 22:00 UTC.

For Brazil, this is the first of three Group C matches. Brazil will face Haiti on June 20 and Scotland on June 25 to complete the group stage.

Morocco also begin their Group C campaign. The African side will play Scotland on June 20 and Haiti on June 25 in their remaining group matches.

Both teams are opening their World Cup campaigns as the tournament continues following its June 11 start across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
