Garcia relishes Belgium reunion with Salah ahead of Egypt clash

Belgium manager Rudy Garcia expressed pleasure at facing Egypt forward Mohamed Salah, whom he coached during his time at Roma in the 2015–16 season. "I am happy to see Mo again after our time together at Roma. He is a great footballer and a wonderful person," García said. "I will embrace him, but as soon as the match starts, we become rivals."

García acknowledged Egypt's attacking quality, noting that Salah and Marmush provide dangerous offensive options. However, he emphasized that Belgium will concentrate on their own strengths to secure victory.

García said Belgium's objective is topping their group. "We want to win the group, and beating Egypt would be the first step," he stated.
