Haaland: 'France might win it all' as Norway faces formidable World Cup group

Erling Haaland assessed Norway's World Cup prospects following their Group I opener. "Be realistic, France might win everything," Haaland told Actu Foot. "This will be a very difficult match with France—they had a great match with Senegal. First we'll focus on Senegal, then we'll see."

Norway's campaign began with a 4-1 victory over Iraq, while France opened their tournament with a 3-1 win over Senegal. Group I also includes Iraq and Senegal alongside the two European sides.

The World Cup 2026 runs from June 11 to July 19 across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
