Bellingham has faced recent criticism, with some suggesting he was made a "scapegoat" at international level. However, Henderson, speaking at England's training base in Kansas City, firmly backed the 22-year-old for a major impact at the tournament.
"I can remember six years ago I gave him his first cap and how much he has grown as a player and person since then is incredible really," Henderson said. "What he has done at such a young age is remarkable, and everybody forgets how young he is."
Henderson highlighted Bellingham's value beyond statistics. "I honestly couldn't speak highly enough of him. I know a lot gets written in the media and I find it hard to read sometimes because I just know how big an influence he is on this team, how good a team-mate he is off the field. What he gives us is something really special. He really gives us an X-factor in our team."
Bellingham's role as England's creative midfield hub and selection status could influence markets on England's group stage performance and offensive output predictions.
