Wilson Isidor, 25, Sunderland forward and former France U-21 international, switched to Haiti in March after discovering his father and grandfather were from the Caribbean nation. He has scored four goals in his last nine games for club and country and aims to become only the second Haitian goal-scorer in World Cup history after Emmanuel Sanon in 1974. "It's been 52 years since Haiti were at the last World Cup and the first goal-scorer is a big, big legend there. I hope to be the second one," Isidor said.
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, 27, Wolves midfielder, was ever-present in Haiti's final qualifying round, starting all six matches. Haiti won three of those matches and drew two en route to their World Cup berth. Bellegarde has made 83 Premier League appearances since joining Wolves from Strasbourg for £12.8m in 2023.
Johny Placide, 38, Haiti's captain and goalkeeper, brings 83 caps of experience. He underwent knee surgery in March with his World Cup participation briefly in doubt but returned to play 45 minutes in a 4-0 warm-up win against New Zealand on 2 June.
