Liverpool have made a €90 million plus €10 million add-ons bid for RB Leipzig left-winger Yan Diomande (19, Ivory Coast), which the German club rejected on June 18. Leipzig is demanding approximately €130 million for the prospect.

Leipzig's valuation reflects the profile of Florian Wirtz, for whom Liverpool paid €125 million plus significant add-ons (total ~€140 million) in summer 2025. Diomande is contracted to Leipzig through June 2030. Liverpool have indicated willingness to spend up to €100 million, though the gap between bids and asking price remains substantial.

Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring Diomande's situation. The winger has not publicly indicated desire to force a move and remains focused on his performances at club level and in the World Cup.

Betting angle: Diomande's continued presence at Leipzig preserves Ivory Coast's attacking depth at the World Cup; any mid-tournament transfer would remove a key winger from the squad.
