Arsenal have agreed to sign 26‑year‑old Illan Meslier on a free transfer from Leeds United.
Meslier, who lost his place as Leeds’ first‑choice keeper, will travel to the club’s training centre in Hertfordshire to complete a medical and final paperwork.
He is expected to join the Gunners as a third‑choice goalkeeper behind David Raya and Kepa Arrizabalaga, with the possibility of moving up the pecking order if Arrizabalaga departs.
The move follows interest from other Premier League clubs, but Arsenal have secured the player’s signature first.
