Benjamin Bourigeaud has signed a three-year contract with Al-Ahli in Qatar, the club announced on Friday. The 32-year-old midfielder moves from Al-Duhail, where he spent two seasons.
Bourigeaud, a former player for Lens and Rennes, made 62 appearances for Al-Duhail, scoring 15 goals and providing 16 assists. He joins a squad that includes William Troost-Ekong, Julian Draxler, and Marco Verratti.
The Spanish coach Borja Jimenez leads the team, which finished ninth in the Stars League last season.
Bourigeaud previously played 311 games for Rennes, scoring 66 goals, and is a former player for Lens.
