Bournemouth have agreed a deal with Elche for Uruguayan international Álvaro Rodríguez worth £22m. He will fly in this week to complete formalities.
Álvaro Rodríguez, a 22‑year‑old forward, plays for Elche CF. He was born on 19 March 2004. He began his career in Sevilla’s youth system, moved to Barcelona B in 2021 and transferred to Elche in the summer of 2023. He has represented Spain at U19 and U21 levels.
