France's coach Didier Deschamps paid tribute to Kylian Mbappé after the forward scored twice in France's 3-0 win over Sweden in the World Cup round of 32 match at the New York New Jersey Stadium.

Mbappé's first goal came in the 45th minute, and he completed his brace with a curling far-post finish in the 85th minute. Deschamps, who returned to the touchline following the passing of his mother, praised Mbappé's performance and the team's overall dominance.

France will face Paraguay in the next round on July 5 at the Philadelphia Stadium.
