Hacker breaches FIFA World Cup website; unauthorized access reported

Hacker 'BobDaHacker' publicly disclosed that he discovered and exploited a vulnerability in the official FIFA World Cup 2026 website, obtaining full administrative access to the streaming management dashboard.

According to his published report, the hacker could manipulate camera feeds in real-time and alter match statistics and scores, presenting a significant risk to tournament broadcast integrity had the breach remained undetected.

FIFA addressed the vulnerability after the hacker's disclosure. However, no FIFA representative contacted or thanked the researcher for identifying the flaw, raising questions about the organization's cybersecurity protocols during the tournament.
