German defender Mats Hummels has called for a critical review of the national squad, particularly concerning players in their late 20s and early 30s, after Germany's World Cup exit.
Hummels remarked, "Decisions need to be made regarding players around 30 years old. Not a single strong tournament after Euro 2016 – this is not a coincidence."
Germany was eliminated from the World Cup Round of 16 by Paraguay yesterday.
