Inter Milan has confirmed the exits of goalkeeper Yann Sommer, defender Francesco Acerbi, and wing-back Matteo Darmian, as their contracts with the club expired today.
Sommer, 37, joined Inter in 2023 and served as the club's No. 1 for three seasons, winning two Serie A titles, a Coppa Italia, and a Supercoppa Italiana. Acerbi, 38, arrived in 2022, securing two Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia, and two Supercoppa Italiana medals.
Darmian, who spent six seasons at San Siro, leaves with three league titles, three domestic cups, and three super cups. Additionally, Stefan De Vrij's contract also concluded today, with the Dutchman reportedly set to join Panathinaikos.
These significant departures will necessitate substantial activity in the transfer market for Inter, potentially impacting their squad depth and future performance odds.
