Inter fined €5,000 for insulting banners aimed at AC Milan

Inter Milan and forward Marcus Thuram have each been fined €5,000 after the disciplinary commission judged two banners displayed during the club’s title‑parade as “insulting and offensive” towards AC Milan.

The banners featured a giant rat in Inter’s colours and a vulgar message targeting Milan supporters.

Inter became the first Milan‑based club to win the Serie A title despite losing both Derby della Madonnina matches last season.

Betting markets may view the incident as a minor distraction for Inter ahead of upcoming fixtures.
