Scotland international Kieron Bowie is reportedly on the radar of Sassuolo, with Verona demanding €12m for the striker. This figure is double the €6m they paid to acquire him from Hibernian just six months ago in January.
The 23-year-old contributed four goals and one assist in 14 appearances for Verona, but his efforts were insufficient to prevent the club's relegation to Serie B. Reports from Tuttomercatoweb and the Daily Record suggest Bowie could remain in the Italian top flight with a potential transfer to Sassuolo.
Sassuolo already has a Scottish player, Josh Doig, who also joined them via Verona in 2024. Bowie has two senior caps for Scotland but was not included in the squad for the 2026 World Cup.
Verona's high asking price for Kieron Bowie could impact Sassuolo's transfer budget and their pursuit of other attacking options.
