Thomas Tuchel praises England’s halftime adjustments after DR Congo win

After England’s 2‑1 comeback victory over DR Congo, manager Thomas Tuchel praised the tactical tweaks made during the halftime break.

Tuchel said, "We have a strong record in tournaments and now we aim to push it over the line and put a second star on our shirt." He credited the hydration break and the subsequent changes for England’s increased attacking output in the second half.

The equaliser came shortly after the second‑half break, with Declan Rice playing a pivotal role in the comeback.
